Seehorn Rally Team Wins Second Championship in a Row!

Spokane, Washington - Going into last weekend’s Tour de Forest Rally, Jeff Seehorn and Karen Jankowski of Seehorn Rally Team had already locked up their second national class championship in a row. An early crash at the event put them out of the race, however it didn’t dampen their spirits as they had a very successful season. Winning the American Rally Association Limited Open 4wd class this season, Jeff and Karen become the first two-time winners in the series. Winning the Restricted Open 4wd class last season and finishing 3rd in the overall championship, the team improved by finishing 2nd overall this season.

Being the top privateer team in the American Rally Association for the second year in a row is an extremely difficult achievement and one not possible without a solid team, car, and sponsors. With 5 wins in 6 events this season, the team continued to show their consistency all the while being able to capitalize on upgrades made to the car. A new Samsonas sequential gearbox and Reiger Suspension were added to the car this season to increase speed, each upgrade proved to increase speed by a couple seconds per mile. In class the team won every stage road completed this season, which is not an easy task to be consistently fast all season and make minimal mistakes.

Jeff Seehorn, Owner/Driver: “This season wasn’t easy, we put in a lot of hard work and effort to be the reigning class champions and top privateer team for the second year in a row. Lots of hours go into maintaining and upgrading the car between rounds, it’s a second job. This was another season that proved how championships don’t come easy and it took a whole team to make this happen. I would like to thank Karen for all her hard work, she puts in lots of time each round planning for the team. Our sponsors are amazing, it is awesome that they are just as passionate about rally as we are! Our crew is the absolute best, they are at every event just to be there for us and it’s such a blessing to have their support and hard work.
