Spokane, Washington March 3rd, 2017 – Seehorn Rally Team of Jeff Seehorn and Karen Jankowski are pleased to announce Scrubblade Inc. of Temecula, California has joined the team as a partner for the 2017 rally season. The team is focusing on the American Rally Association championship in the Restricted Open AWD class, with the first event being the Oregon Trail Rally (http://oregontrailrally.com/ ) April 21-23 in the Portland Oregon area.
Scrubblade is the maker of the most innovative and effective wiper blades in the USA. The secret to their cleansing power is in their passion for driving safety and innovation. Featuring innovative double blade design with Scrubber technology which not only wipes but also scrubs simultaneously.
Billy Westbrook, Owner & CEO of Scrubblade: “We are stoked to be part of the Seehorn Rally Team for 2017. Jeff and Karen are true professionals filled with passion for their sport. There is not a better platform than rally to promote the advantage of Scrubblade Wipers, where vision is of utmost importance between success or failure.”
Seehorn Rally Team will be racing a newly built 2015 Subaru STI for this season that Jeff built himself. Taking what they learned from the past two seasons in the prior car that Jeff also built, there are many upgrades to this new one.
Jeff Seehorn: “I am very excited to be running a brand new build this year. With the new car we have been able to build it with some of the best parts available and now we will have the best vision too by teaming up with Scrubblade! I have been impressed with their blades and as an auto parts store owner I have sure seen my fair share of wiper blades. Not only will we be running them in our rally car this season but also will be selling them in our store as well.”
Jeff and Karen are teaming up together again in 2017 building on the momentum from last season including a Super Production class win and 3rd overall finish at Olympus. They are looking forward to competing in events they have done together in the past and ones Karen has competed at with other teams with great success. The team had very good pace and consistency last season and will continue to build on that with the goal of not only winning their class but also score an overall podium as well at their first event Oregon Trail Rally April 21-23.
Karen Jankowski: “I think the key for us this year is to continue to build on the momentum and success from the last two seasons together. The last three events in the championship, STPR, New England Forest, and Ojibwe Forest Rallies I have competed in many times so I know those roads. I am so excited to have my longtime friend Billy Westbook and his company Scrubblade, Inc on board this season. We can’t wait to test out their wipers in the muddy and rainy conditions that our races will be throwing at us!”
